Risk Management for Crypto Signal Trading — Protect Your Capital
Even the best signals will have losing streaks. Proper risk management is what separates successful traders from those who blow up their accounts.
Position Sizing
Never risk more than 1-2% of your capital on a single trade. If your account is $10,000, your max risk per trade is $100-$200. TradeXor's risk manager automatically calculates position sizes based on your account balance and the signal's confidence.
Stop Losses
Every signal from TradeXor includes a stop loss level. This is not a suggestion — it's your insurance. Always use it. Our dynamic stop management includes trailing stops that lock in profits as the trade moves in your favor.
Take Profit
Our signals include take profit targets based on risk-reward ratios of at least 1:2. We also use partial take-profits: 50% of the position closes at 1.5x risk, with the remaining position protected by a breakeven stop.
Diversification
We trade 5 pairs (BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL, XRP). Our correlation-aware risk manager prevents overexposure to highly correlated assets moving in the same direction.
Drawdown Management
If your account is down 10%, reduce position sizes by 50%. If down 20%, stop trading until you understand what changed.
The goal is not to avoid losses — losses are part of trading. The goal is to keep losses small and let winners run.
